I Didn't.

Ashlet: Hey, tomorrow afternoon want go dinner? :D

---

We watched about 20 minutes of Twilight in class yesterday.

My class is full of Twilight fans. We especially adore Edward Cullen. (less than three)

Miss Jess: Okay, so Bella meets this guy, Edward who is actually a vampire, in lab period.
Me: Yes teacher, I remember his face oh so vividly. Although he supposedly was nauseous, he was constipating!

Edward: ... Need... To... Poop....

*laughter*

Someone: YA NOT ENOUGH FIBRE INTAKE!

*laughter*

Miss Jess: *laughs* Yes I agree with you! He looks like he is constipating!

... Well some don't. But we think he's really hot. Like seriously. Hot like fire.

(The first scene where Edward appears, walking in after the rest of the Cullens and Hales.)

Huajie: AHHHHHHHHH!!! I MIGHT DIEEEE!

(The scene where Edward stops the truck with his bare hands.)

Me: MY HEROOOOOO!

Miss Jess hates Bella, probably.

(First scene of the show, camera faces Bella.)

Ye Young: Wah, so hot!

...

Miss Jess: Oh... My... God...

Class: HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHA!

And here's our mini-interview with Miss Jess regarding Twilight.

Huajie: Teacher, are you a fan?
Miss Jess: Mmmm, Yes I am!
Huajie: Who introduced the book to you?
Miss Jess: Erm... My 8 year old niece!
Me: Wah so young. Teacher even your niece more canggih.
Miss Jess: Yes, she was asking me to buy it for her as a birthday present. So I bought it, and I read it!
Huajie: Wah teacher, that's not good. You gave a second hand present!

---

Me: Teacher, do you prefer Edward or Jacob?
Miss Jess: Mmmm, for the character, Edward. For the actor, Jacob.
Huajie: Oooooh, so teacher you like the book or the movie more.
Miss Jess: The book. The movie sucks.

!

---

Huajie: So teacher, what made you hate the movie?
Miss Jess: I guess it's the imperfection of Edward. When I saw the movie I was like, 'No, that's not Edward. Edward's not like that.' Edward is supposed to be like this.. Perfect, perfect guy!

Yes my teacher is a Twilight fan girl! xD

Chapter IX

College started today.

I'm studying A-Levels at Tunku Abdul Rahman College for those who are interested.

It's. Hu. Ge.

It's huge.

The compound, I meant.

It's 10 or more times larger than my secondary school.

And the facilities are really top notch.

(You know I kinda ponder how hostel life would be like because it seems really cool.)

Well got home at 6 today. I'm really spent. But today was quite a lot of fun.

Hope that will continue!

Good night.

Thanks For The Memories

I love school.

Simply put, I thoroughly enjoyed my five year tenure here.

But it's gonna end soon.

What a shame.

Thus... Without further ado...

Sentimental Picture Time!

KRS:

Greens:

Choir:

Basketball:

And pretty much all my friends:

Thanks for the memories.

Maybe, soon, there'll be nothing but empty chairs in those great halls. Remnants of what have happened in the past and a sign of what to expect from the future.

But I'll take heart, knowing how merry and gay this place used to be - and that I was part of it. :)

It's been an entertaining and exciting adventure from day one to the very end - It was one hell of a ride.

... Even so, all that remains are only memories embedded in pictures.

Just like faint footsteps fading into an ephemeral evanescence.

It's time to turn the page soon.

Here's to the new chapter being even better! :D

(all your fault, shing.)

Pancreatic juice comes from the pancreas right?

COME ON LETS GO EAT SOME FAMOUS ANUS BISCUITS!!!

(Classroom shrieks in laughter.)

---

Me and huaJie are nice people, we think. But we cannot compare to this little one here:

karMun: Li Qi, I tell you ahhh! This Hua Jie ah, kembang like don't know what you know when I told him something!

liQi: What thing?

karMun: Don't want say, later he kembang kao kao again.

(huaJie points at karMun and does the twirl-finger-beside-cheek-while-wincing-gesture.)

liQi: Hahaha what was it!?

karMun: Nola, I just told him that some people said he was nice.

(karMun turns to face huaJie.)

karMun: SEEEE KEMBANG AGAIN!

huaJie: EH!! WHAT DID I DO?!

karMun: THIS KIND OF PEOPLE AHHHHH! CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE SAY YOU ARE NICE!

liQi: But he is nice what?

(huaJie grins and stares at karMun.)

karMun: YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON MYYYYYY SIDEEE!

liQi: You want be friends with not-nice people meh?

karMun: HMMPH! But I'm nicer right?

liQi: Yes you are, karMun.

(karMun pumps her fist and grins widely.)

huaJie: WALAO YOU GOT SEE HER REACTION OR NOT!?!?! SHE WAS LIKE "YESSSSSS! I DID IT!!!"

liQi: HAHAHA YA LIKE SHE IS SOME WORLD CHAMPION LIKE THAT! "LOOOOK, I AM THE WORLD CHAMPION OF NICEE!"

(liQi lifts up imaginary title belt.)

huaJie: LOL AT THE CHAMPIONSHIP BELT WEI!

karMun: SUCH FRIENDS I GOT!!!!!

...

But karMun is too nice. Me and Huajie are nice, but absolutely cannot compare. It's like comparing pubic hair to hair. They are both hair, but not really the same.

For example:

karMun: Nicole, I'm nice... Right?!?!?!
(Nicole nods.)
karMun: SEEE!!?
karMun: Goh Tze, I'm nice... Right!??!?
(Tze Lim nods.)
karMun: SEEEEE!?!?!?!
liQi: Yes, we know, world champion.

(Huajie does pumping balloon gesture in the background.)

huaJie: POOoOOoOF! Walao, kembang until pao liau.
karMun: UGGHHHHH!!!!

See...? So nice.

Unchronological Thoughts.

THESE days, people have a 'thing'. Forever. Perpetual. Peripheral. Perennial. Eternal. Unceasing.

There's always a 'thing' going on.

You wave/smile at a girl. You have a thing with her.

You walk in a parallel line with a girl for more than 10 seconds. You have a thing with her.

You walk a girl who was walking alone home. You have a thing with her.

You talk with a girl one to one. You have a thing with her.

You share a joke with a girl and have a laugh. You have a thing with her.

You help a girl carry something heavy. You have a thing with her.

You lend the girl your stuff. You have a thing with her.

The girl lends you her stuff. You have a thing with her.

You compliment a girl's looks. You have a thing with her.

You compliment anything at all about a girl. You have a thing with her.

Well you know what? Maybe there is a thing.

It's called "Companionship".

---

So Jun Yen, Jou Ee, Jin Wai, Liesa and Natalie were bickering about my resting place (hmmm sounds so morbid...) and chattering about past 'loves' and 'crushes'. While not intentionally eavesdropping, I do have a pretty good sense of hearing and had quite a good reception to pick up the words.

Consensus: I am really crap with girls.

---

Nowadays, everything is either "like gay", "like shit" or "like God".

Weather is unbearably hot?
"WALAO WEI THE WEATHER HOT LIKE SHIT WEI!"

Fabregas passes the ball extremely well?
"WALAO WEI, GOT SEE HIS PASSING OR NOT? LIKE GOD WEI!"

Yun Wei doesn't play the striker role very well?
"DID YOU SEE HOW HE PLAY AH? HE PLAY LIKE GAY LA!"

Weather is chillingly cold?
"WAAAAHHH TODAY'S RAIN AH! MAKE THE WEATHER COLD LIKE SHIT WEI!"
(Which begs the question how the weather can be both hot like shit and cold like shit. So is shit hot or cold?)

Han Yao gets 100 marks for mod math?
"WHAT THE? YOUR MATH LIKE GOD WEI! ARE YOU THE LEGENDARY MOD MATH GOD THAT HIDES IN BUSHES AND JUMPS OUT OF NOWHERE TO SAY "WASABI!"?!?"

Jung Kiang doesn't perform up to par during football?
"WEI, WHAT HAPPEN TO YOU WEI, WHY YOU PLAY LIKE GAY TODAY?!"
LiQi: Oh, he's just playing like himself then.

---

I've probably never been this enchanted by any character that I've come across before!

---

I've always had an opinion that supernatural stories only occur in supernatural circumstances, and these circumstances are extremely few and far between. More often than not, they're only read/seen in fiction. Just why can't we replicate it in reality, I beg to ponder.

---

Sya sent me sprawling to the floor in our Angry Face Duel today. (WHAT KIND OF ANGRY FACE IS THAT WEI! -___-)

I was quite proud of my record, having never lost a Face Duel before today. But that record is now shattered! :(

Oh wait, that's because my most common opponent is Ashley. :\

---

Right, and I have been christened 87 Degrees.

Why?

In math, a straight line cutting another line at 90 Degrees is called a normal. As seeing as I'm not quite normal... Go figure!

---

Someone please shake me out of this apathy... There's only 6 weeks plus left... :|

Deadpan! Deadpan!! Deadpan!!!

Food is great.

P R A Y H A R D

How much of a donkey do you need to be to sleep at 9 30 and yet feel ridiculously crap for the whole day? Evidently, however much that is, I am one!

But wait a minute,

Just how much sleep is 'enough sleep'?

I slept at 9 30 yesterday and I still feel like a fat swine that had it's eyelids' pinned open for 4314.2213 hours. Please halp~

----

I am very grateful and probably more than just a little fortunate to have made it to school with just this 'stigmata' wound and an ugly bruise on my knee.

Hmmm, had I been cycling faster or had there been an onrushing car I think I would have been hospitalized or even be afflicted with (I'm sitting on a wooden chair as I write this) fatal wounds.

Have just one point to make today:

Accidents can happen anywhere, anytime and completely out of the blue. They can loom around silently and pounce when you least expect. So while you're at it, be cautious at all times. Fun is all good, but if the danger lights start flashing, please be careful. Never forget the presence of danger in every situation. Safety comes first!

Be grateful in every circumstance, and not for every circumstance.

Which means,

'I'm really glad I'm all well and fine!'

instead of

'WTF WHY THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN TO ME OF ALL PEOPLE!? LOOK AT THAT EMO GUY THERE? WHY NOT HIM!?!? WHY NOT THAT FAT DUDE THERE!?!? HUH HUH HUH? WHY MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!?'

p/s: It sucks to have a wounded hand. :(

*grab pencil* OWW!
*grab towel* OWW!
*grab handphone* OWW!
*grab durian* OMGWTFBBQ!?

Back to School.

Headed back to good ol' Damansara for reunion dinner. Not a lot of people that I don't get to meet much nowadays turned up, sadly. So didn't get to catch up with anyone much, only Andrea I guess, and she's not even my ex-classmate, lol!

That's me and sze being lazyworms! Heh. Talked with many teachers, and generally met quite a few people, though mostly juniors. I guess it's true that people's affinity towards their alma mater slowly fade with time. :|

Where's your sense of belonging!

The seniors didn't turn up but quite a good deal of the younger ones turned up. Was still relatively fun to watch the changes in people though. :D

And... After yesterday, I can safely conclude that Wai Seng is damn pat and Andrea is damn sampat.

=="

Cheerio.

I am always called weird by all my friends.

Some for just being true to myself or letting it all out, and some for completely different and sometimes unknown reasons.

Convenient acting seems to be very much in the blood of human behaviour.

Some wise man said history was manslaughter.

Well...

...

Damn, I'm sorry.

Video vs Reality.

....

I shouldn't have done that.

But I did. So whatever.

Did what?

I watched the Malam Bakat CD when I should have studied. =="

And... I have a few things to say.

1) Is it me or the audio quality was crap compared to what I remembered on that day?

2) ... I bob my head a lot.

3) ... I slant to my right a lot.

4) ... My head can't help but look around a lot.

5) [IMPORTANT POINT] WTHECK LA OUR AUDITION WAS 104938409127840 times better sounding. No wonder huajie keeps on telling me "I'm in pain..." after watching it.

6) [ABSOLUTELY VITAL POINT] And is that my name I keep hearing at the start? LOOOOOOOOL!

Zack. April. May.

What the heck? =="

I'm somehow bustling with energy today.

And the weird thing is.

I slept for a grand total of 30 minutes yesterday! O_o

Weird...

I like weird.

I think the 3 cups of coffee and the cold showers in the middle of the night are working now. =="

Way overdue though.

Hahaha, I just rediscovered that I really like writing essays today.

I would never have thought in a million years I would write that genre of essay loooool.

Driver. / It's back!

I hate passengers.

...

No! Not those that sit in my car when I drive! The ones I meant are people who do not contribute to the collective cause of a community.

And how about a perfect example from an incident today!

---

Shortgirl: Class, please arrange the tables now, exams are gonna start soon.
Class: *Grumble*

(5 minutes later.)

Shortgirl: CLASS, SERIOUSLY, COME ON!
Class: *Grumble*

(Some people were already taking up arms and helping move tables and chairs around, while others sat there in a daze minding their own business, complaining, and talking, and grumbling, but not bothering to lend a helping hand or even arrange their own tables, instead letting others 'help' them.)

---

That's who I meant.

Now seriously, would it be the death of you to at least help yourself to do your own things? Instead of constantly lamenting about how your life could have/should have been much better with your friends, how about you help your classmates who are doing work, for not just themselves but ironically, also for you?

How about you do your own part?

It might be too much (oh yeahhh) to expect you to help others, but for God's sake can't you do your own stuff? Have you no tingling sense of guilt at all to let others labour for you?

On a side note....

JULY'S DDAY.

(Originally written on 13 August 2009)

It's a tad late (okay fine, very late), but I think it's my responsibility to do my KRSians justice by blogging about our DDAY.

---

31st July 2009.

Waking up in the morning, you'd imagine that after doing this for five years now, I'd be pretty prepared and comfortable with what I was facing in my head.

That's not too far wide of the mark. However, an error the previous day caused me to fret and worry about today: I forgot to get the metal pieces/horseshoes that I was supposed to get the previous night.

One Utama opens at around 10, so my best bet is wait and have my dad collect it later for me. But of course, to say I did not fear I couldn't make it in time would be a gross understatement.

Waking up at five o' clock in the morning has become customary throughout the years, and this year was no different.

Going to school, I was brimming with confidence. We've prepared very well and for very long. I' don't mean to be arrogant, but considering our preparations (and pedigree), anything but a one-two finish at the end of the day will be regarded as a major disappointment and deemed a failure.

First was the standard lining up and uniform examination, followed by speeches by the principal and the YDP PIBG.

There were some performances by the self-defense art associations, the 24-season drums and Blitzerz. And then a break, and then the competition began, first with the standard lintas-hormat.

Fortunately everything came out well and we went through the routine with few/no slip-ups. The horseshoes were obtained in time, everybody remembered and executed their parts. They kept the promise of being focused and serious for the whole morning. And that was all I needed from them.

And the time came to announce the winners!

Best Club: Cheerleading Club! (National champions!)
Best Game: Badminton! (MSSS silver I think)
Best Uniform: KRS! (WOOT!)

6th was: Pandu Puteri!
5th was: Kadet Polis!
4th was: PBSM!
3rd was: PENGAKAP!

Cue the ecstasy and jubilation. Everyone in green was already jumping around. We've managed our one-two, leaving me relieved, happy and proud. KRS has won, and what remained was just the formality of going up the stage to collect the two awards.

2nd was: KRS (B)

(My little boys and girls couldn't stop screaming by now hahahahah!)

Choong Yean walks up and takes the hamper! I stand up and get ready, next up is me!

(I remember being berated for doing this by a certain cheerleader that offers you food and then thanks God when you decline her offer! Hmmm.)

Yeah, regardless, I signaled for Choong Yean to accompany me when the announcer announced:

1st place: KRS (A)

(Even more screams from the little boys and girls.)

Winning the one-two was great! But the icing on the cake though, was the victory for the best uniform award! We've lost for two years now, so taking it back was really special!

Ahh... I guess this caps off a great KRS year perfectly. Hopefully more of the same will continue with campfire, KAKA and annual camp.

Sorry, not feeling very funny today, so can't make you all laugh with my absurdity. Hahahah!

Misunderstood?

Sometimes I find the actions of certain teachers very unfathomable.

Today, I was walking off from class during transition before a teacher came in. I was heading for the toilet due to some stomach pain (has been happening a lot lately too) and unfortunately, without a pass.

I walked and walked.

First sign of danger: Puan Zubaidah walks out from her class.

"It should be alright, just greet her and walk away!" I thought to myself.

I greeted her, and tried to further the distance between the two of us.

But she called out.

"Nak pergi mana?"

"Nak ke tandas, cikgu." I replied.

"Mana pas kamu?"

".... Maaf, tak ada cikgu dalam kelas."

"Pergi dapatkan pas dulu."

"Ya, cikgu, terima kasih."

Damn, that was trouble. But I don't begrudge her one bit. She was just doing her job as per the school's protocol. Besides, she wasn't being hostile.

So I trudged back the other way of the corridor. Ah I spotted Teacher X.

I went up to her and asked if she could lend me his/her pass!

I was thinking to myself, he/she is such a well liked teacher, surely he/she wouldn't mind lending his/her pass for me for a while!

Oh how wrong was I.

Despite his/her reputation of being a good teacher and a generally well-liked person. He/she would not lend me his/her pass. For the reason being he/she has to go off now.

I offered to return his/her pass to wherever he/she is headed to now, but to no avail.

He/she was steadfast and stubborn to not lend it to me.

And that is infuriating and unfathomable.

You would think, with the school placing such importance on discipline nowadays that you have to have a pass regardless of where you're going, so long as you're leaving the threshold of your class, that teachers would be willing to lend their passes to students who have no teachers in their class, not least those that really really need to go off.

BUT NOOOOOOOOOO! He/she won't let me.

Luckily for me though, Puan Karamjit was nice enough to lend me her name tag, an 'alternative pass' as she puts it.

And then there's another case.

Teachers who don't bring passes, AT ALL!

HOW THE HECK ARE WE SUPPOSED TO USE THE WASHROOM ('LEGALLY') WHEN WE REALLY NEED TO THEN?

With passes at a premium (one pass per teacher), I really cannot understand why they would choose to leave it on their desks and run the risk of letting their students get caught for supposedly 'pontenging class.' And then they'll go on and whine about how the student shouldn't have left class in the first place.

OH PLEASE LA, WHEN YOU HAVE TO GO, YOU HAVE TO GO!

Where got people like this one!

"TEACHER I WANT TO GO TOILET, ABSOLUTELY NEED TO!"

"No, I have no pass, you'll have to hold it in for two more periods."

"BUT TEACHER, WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH NEEDS TO GO IMMEDIATELY!"

"I don't care, hold your horses right there, for 80 minutes."

"TEACHER, THIS HORSE IS THREATENING TO STAMPEDE ALL OVER US SOON!"

"Then that's too sad. Go hide in a corner now."

"TEACHER, WHY YOU DO THIS TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! YOU TOOK MY HEART, SHATTERED IT WITH YOUR MERCILESS WORDS INTO MANY THOUSAND PIECES, THRUST ME TO THE ENDLESS VOID OF DARKNESS AND LEFT ME TO ROT THERE, WAITING FOR THE TOUCH OF ICE COLD DEATH TO CLAIM ME. DO YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL? I FEEL LIKE A CASTRATED MAN GASPING FOR HELP AS THE EXECUTIONER TRIES TO CASTRATE ME ANOTHER TIME! THIS FEELING, YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND THREE POINT ONE FOUR ONE FIVE NINE TWO (pi) BIT! IT'S ENDLESS SUFFERING FOR ETERNITY!"

"Shush. Enough ranting, I have to teach pendidikan moral now."

"OH MY GOD YOU'RE A MORAL TEACHER! YOU'VE JUST INDUCED EVEN MORE SORROW INTO MY ALREADY-SHATTERED HEART, THREATENING TO SWALLOW ME INTO THE VERY DEPTHS OF THE ABYSS OF SORROW! OH NO I HAVE TO GOOOOOOOO!"

*Student goes to a corner and emo.*

*Classes smells like something some time later.*

I don't say this much, but seriously, WTF?

p/s: Puan Leow teaches physics infinite times better than Mr. Ravi.

So Long, Mr. Long.

"A good teacher is not only a good disciplinarian but also a good entertainer at the same time."

"I've always believed, that what can be said in two words, can be better said in ten."

-Mr. Long, a great teacher and a greater man.

Ah, how funny/cute he looked when he was covering his face in shyness when walking down the path of honour we laid for him...

You may not have taught me before, but your reputation as one of the school's best teachers warrants you a mention!

And you're also the teacher in charge for KRS!

Hope you like the books we bought you. :)

Enjoy your 'unemployed' days!

Flour.

You know, there was once a very wise saying....

"The amount of flour you have on your body at the end of a surprise ambush to commemorate your last appearance in a weekly meet is directly proportional to how much people love you."

-Some very wise guy.

*Ahem.*

Based on that theory...

Wow, I'm so loved. Hahahahhaha!

Anyway, here's some other pictures from our last meet of the year.

Coming back from barbecuing marshmallows.

Promptly blindfolded and abducted by the juniors, to form some weird strange line. Of course, prior to that, we were led into a non-existent maze filled with 'CAREFUL GOT DRAIN!'s and 'WATCH OUT FOR THE FLOWER POT!'s. Before finally settling down in some weird strange line, forcing us to hold hands with another person (nooo!).

And then, perhaps predictably, splashing us with flour! And some water too iirc.

He doesn't look like he minds though. I didn't too!

Them girls taking their happy picture. Ah, girls and camera.... Symbiosis-like.

Then, each junior AJK handed a souvenir that consisted of (strangely) a lollipop and a toothbrush to a senior AJK! (And I thought I had white enough teeth already!)

Lajreena baked cupcakes for us! Wheee, food! Damn, you all shouldn't have wasted so much flour on us la, could have had more cupcake!

And finally, just to remind them who's boss until the end of this year.... /gg

We had them pull their ears. WAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!

Thanks juniors, really enjoyed the day. Sorry I didn't prepare a speech though. Heh. :D

Do your part like it should be done.

I'm not feeling particularly talkative. But I just thought I should have a rehash on my oh-so-inspirasi speech I gave to the prefects.

After all they are the ones with the real authority in school.

Hey I'm very aware I'm a nobody in the prefect world, but I do have things to say okay!

*Extract from chatlog*

(17:17) [ .__> ] liqi: i told them:
(17:17) [ .__> ] liqi: in every successful committee or company, there is one extremely vital component that makes or breaks it
(17:17) [ .__> ] liqi: it's called respect.
(17:18) [ .__> ] liqi: now, i'm not asking you to respect your seniors, your teachers or anything, because those things have been repeated to death
(17:18) [ .__> ] liqi: what i'm telling you
(17:18) [ .__> ] liqi: is to respect your uniform.
(17:18) [ .__> ] liqi: not everyone gets to wears this uniform
(17:18) [ .__> ] liqi: so if you wear this uniform, you are a privileged one.
(17:18) [ .__> ] liqi: you have been granted authority and license to change what's wrong and maintain what's right.
(17:19) [ .__> ] liqi: in my five years as a student
(17:19) [ .__> ] liqi: i've seen many prefects
(17:19) [ .__> ] liqi: some extremely efficient and good ones, (ala justin yong)
(17:19) [ .__> ] liqi: and some extremely poor and apathetic ones.
(17:19) [ .__> ] liqi: i wish that will change
(17:19) [ .__> ] liqi: because, in the past, not many of them were actually brave enough to do something about the wrong things that are happening in school. they just didn't care enough.
(17:20) [ .__> ] liqi: i hope you all are different
(17:20) [ .__> ] liqi: i am an old man, i'm leaving this school soon.
(17:20) [ .__> ] liqi: you are young, you can still change this school, for the better. I really wish you all do.
(17:20) [ .__> ] liqi: that's all.

So, this is my parting wish that should I be back few years from now, it'd be a much better place!

Go forth, young ones!

Generations.

It seemed like just yesterday, I would be the one eagerly anticipating the shout of the commander and line up steadfastly in our lines.

It seemed like just yesterday, I would be the one who was on the ground, laying prone on the ground, accepting punishment, until the commander shouted 'UP!'

It seemed like just yesterday, I would be the one standing in front of the stage, singing to the song loudly, and proudly.

It seemed like just yesterday, I would be happily clutching my badge, basking in the success of promotion.

It seemed like just yesterday, I would be listening quietly to the instructions of my seniors, awaiting their orders.

But that was 'yesterday'. Today, is a different day.

A different reign comes with a different leader.

Different ideas rise up to replace obsolete ones.

That, is 'Generations.'

Today, I'm a different person.

Today, I am the one who signals for them to queue up.

Today, I am the one who punishes and the one that shouts 'UP!'

Today, I stand atop the stage, leading them in the song.

Today, I am the proud senior giving out the badges to the up and coming youngsters.

Today, I am the planner, distributor and executor.

Growth is an amazing thing.

I'm not here to boast or anything.

But for those who doubt yourself.

Stop. You'll never know where you'll be in a few days, let alone a few years.

Have faith in yourself and press on.

One day, you'll climb to the top.

Age.

Sometimes I have to wonder if one year really makes all the difference.

From my observation, people holding the same position, at a different age (one is one year younger), receives different amounts of respect.

This, for me, is a little bit ridiculous.

If he's given a particular position to hold, then it's likely that the higher-ups place good faith in him. People shouldn't doubt him because of his age, nor should they doubt his ability. Because, in the end, it was the consensus that he was the most suitable.

If you doubt him, do you think you can do better?

Sorry, but the answer is very likely to be 'No.'

And thus, listen to him. Respect him. He is the leader. You are the follower.

When first appointed, you all had no qualms. And that's the way it should remain.

It does not mean you are given privilege to slack around because you are his friend, or classmate, or someone who's older/same age as him.

By rank, he is above you.

It's not about acceptance, it's obedience.

Cheer 2009.

Yo Blitzerz!
What's up? What's up?
Louder!
What's up? What's up?
Ladies?
What's up? What's up?
You think about winning?
Forget about it.
'Cause you know what?
What?
'Cause we're the best!
'Cause we're the best!
'Cause we're the best!
'Cause we're the best!
Go.... Blitzerz!

---

And we were.

Best Supporters 2009.
Best Make Up: Second runner up.
And of course....
NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 2009.

In Zoe's own words, the 'ecstatic' Blitzerz team smiling in jubilation.

Every bit deserved?

Surely.

---

The rabbit won the race.

:)

I'm really happy and proud.

If this has taught me anything, it's that everything can change through sheer hard work. Zoe and the Blitzerz, I salute you. You all deserved it!

Good job juniors for the organization. Though there's always room for improvement. Well done for the most part though.

Thank you to all the vociferous supporters who shouted their lungs out. We are, the best supporters! For the rest though, shame on you! :(

(proper update some time later.)

As evidenced by the pictures. The atmosphere in the stadium was simply electric. Our section alone boasted about 400 loudmouths. Some more enthusiastic than the others, but enthusiastic all the same.

Needless to say, we caught plenty of attention and drowned nearly everyone out. Except maybe the larger Xavier/Adele group on Sunday.

Every volunteer from our camp went down with thunderous support.

Darren, Marwan, Kadri, Nazar and even Mr. Donald and Clara's mum all ventured on the blue mat.

They went with every ounce of support from the supporters and were good in doing everything that was asked (mostly anyway).

Nazar's Mercy was show-stopping! Hahahahaha.

Good job BUD4!

Some of the juniors couldn't resist taking some pictures with me. Haihz.... (syok sendiri. ==")
