P R A Y H A R D

How much of a donkey do you need to be to sleep at 9 30 and yet feel ridiculously crap for the whole day? Evidently, however much that is, I am one!

But wait a minute,

Just how much sleep is 'enough sleep'?

I slept at 9 30 yesterday and I still feel like a fat swine that had it's eyelids' pinned open for 4314.2213 hours. Please halp~

----

I am very grateful and probably more than just a little fortunate to have made it to school with just this 'stigmata' wound and an ugly bruise on my knee.

Hmmm, had I been cycling faster or had there been an onrushing car I think I would have been hospitalized or even be afflicted with (I'm sitting on a wooden chair as I write this) fatal wounds.

Have just one point to make today:

Accidents can happen anywhere, anytime and completely out of the blue. They can loom around silently and pounce when you least expect. So while you're at it, be cautious at all times. Fun is all good, but if the danger lights start flashing, please be careful. Never forget the presence of danger in every situation. Safety comes first!

Be grateful in every circumstance, and not for every circumstance.

Which means,

'I'm really glad I'm all well and fine!'

instead of

'WTF WHY THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN TO ME OF ALL PEOPLE!? LOOK AT THAT EMO GUY THERE? WHY NOT HIM!?!? WHY NOT THAT FAT DUDE THERE!?!? HUH HUH HUH? WHY MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!?'

p/s: It sucks to have a wounded hand. :(

*grab pencil* OWW!
*grab towel* OWW!
*grab handphone* OWW!
*grab durian* OMGWTFBBQ!?

When the sangfroid falls, just pick it up again.

I can't believe I kena tuduh of being emo during a patch where I reckon I've been happier than a lot of people. =="

Alas, with the morbidity levels rising faster than a wooden cork in water, I have decided to menderma my dua sen and (attempt to) try to "liberate them from (their) Hell."

#1, For the umpteenth time, "Me against the world" is a Goddamn fallacy.

I'm not really a Liverpool fan, but their anthem rings ever so true. You'll never walk alone.

---

When babies are born, they only know how to crawl.

Slowly, they learn to walk, and run, and jump.

But during this learning process, more often then not, they will fall down, and cry and weep from the pain.

But you know what? They will get back on their feet sooner or later and continue to try, and finally, they succeed in walking, running and jumping.

---:

Why do people fall?

Why do people trip over things needlessly, lose balance, and drop to the floor?

---

I think most of us can agree and accept that life's no bed of roses. If it was, it's a crazily thorned bunch of roses. It's no smooth sailing. There will be obstacles after obstacles, challenges after challenges, and hurdles after hurdles. These are things that we cannot avoid even if our lives depended on it.

If we're to face and stand up to a perpetual and eonian adversary such as this, we'd have to be thoroughly prepared and learned.

:---

People fall, so they can learn to get back up on their feet and continue to walk once more.

If you do not learn, dispel the thought that you'll ever walk again. And stay rooted in that rut you fell into by mistake. For if you do not learn, you'll only fall and fall and fall again in that depressed cycle of yours. So learn, get up as soon as you can and walk on!

And if you ever find it too difficult a task to stand after a painful fall, doubt not that people around you will give you a hand and try their best to hoist you back up. (Some may even piggyback you!) You're never alone.

---

It's a barren world out there, but hey, we'll have to walk it 'til our very last breaths anyhow, so why sulk and punish yourselves when you can still put that bright smile on your faces and enjoy?

And besides, with the right people and the right circumstances, it may even turn out to be a walk to remember.

:D

Aku syukur aku anak bumi Malaysia~!

Salam sejahtera!

Hari-hari bosan, saja jalan-jalan, cari makan. Ada perkara 'happening' berlaku x? Rasanya x ade. :(

Orang berbosan mari kita berkumpul dan un-bosankan diri.

Jumpa lagi!

Jom berbatu!

Rasanya, bahasa rojak ko hebat dan handal 1x. Hohoho, bangga sial!

In the midst of a boredom-laden and snail-paced September, I suddenly miss the ever-so-hectic-ness of the eventful July month. Ahhhh!

Random Number #2.

Hohoho, Huajie put up this poster of a question last night when we were playing some weird manifestation of football outside his house.

Chlorine is a poisonous gas.

Yet we still take Chlorine into our bodies everyday.

In the form of sodium chloride, which is err.... salt, and is probably used in 80% of our dishes.

So the general consensus is.... "Chemical properties of elements change once they combine." gua. =\

HOHOHO FUNNY PICTURE!

See that line? You never should have crossed it.

A good measure of his personality can be sensed from his first meeting with Stella. Noctis hides his shyness underneath a façade of coolness in front of him, which creates a cold and unsociable impression. However, he smiles and acts more openly around his friends, a testament to Nomura's statement that "[Noctis] is not the least bit a silent, gloomy little boy."

Hmmmmmmmm.

... Shall not have any idiosyncrasies.

Had a long chat with a friend last night.

Even though I was the one that was supposed to help and give advice, I (perhaps accidentally) ended up talking a lot of sense that could be applied even to myself.

Things aren't really what they seem to be sometimes.
We're not really as strong as we'd like to think sometimes.
Yet the contrary is also true.
We're not really as weak as we sometimes think we are.

However content we are with running away, it just isn't the way to solve problems.

The world around us more or less affects what we do and what we are.
Conversely,
What we do and what we become affects the world around us.
So perhaps a little tweak to ourselves can actually help change things around us that we don't like... Hmmm?

It's only ever 'you against the world' when you don't let anyone else come into your life to help.

"Pain for me is fine, I don't want to hurt anyone else."

Hahaha, some kind of martyr my friend is.

Holiday time is also pimple raising and eyebags growing time! Sadly, it's infinitely true and I already have plenty.

Random Number.

Anyone else finds it ironic that the substance most commonly used to subdue fire is actually comprised of two highly combustible elements?

Lol. I'm talking about water you know?

Water = Hydrogen + Oxygen.

Both aid in combustion and supposedly produce an explosion when a mixture of them is lighted. Copper (II) Oxide empirical experiment, anyone?

Back to School.

Headed back to good ol' Damansara for reunion dinner. Not a lot of people that I don't get to meet much nowadays turned up, sadly. So didn't get to catch up with anyone much, only Andrea I guess, and she's not even my ex-classmate, lol!

That's me and sze being lazyworms! Heh. Talked with many teachers, and generally met quite a few people, though mostly juniors. I guess it's true that people's affinity towards their alma mater slowly fade with time. :|

Where's your sense of belonging!

The seniors didn't turn up but quite a good deal of the younger ones turned up. Was still relatively fun to watch the changes in people though. :D

And... After yesterday, I can safely conclude that Wai Seng is damn pat and Andrea is damn sampat.

=="

Cheerio.

Hey.

Your EQ is 153

Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.

Seriously though, your whole "Don't Worry, Be Happy" philosophy is really what defines emotional intelligence.

You're warm, open, and very optimistic. You know how to act appropriately, even if you don't feel like it.

You are a good communicator, and you have little difficulty with personal relationships - even when you're dealing with difficult people.

In general, you are successful, capable, together person. You get what you want out of life.

You Have a Choleric Temperament

You are a person of great enthusiasm - easily excited by many things.

Unsatisfied by the ordinary, you are reaching for an epic, extraordinary life.

You want the best. The best life. The best love. The best reputation.

You posses a sharp and keen intellect. Your mind is your primary weapon.

Strong willed, nothing can keep you down. Your energy can break down any wall.

You're an instantly passionate person - and this passion gives you an intoxicating power over others.

At your worst, you are a narcissist. Full of yourself and even proud of your faults.

Stubborn and opinionated, you know what you think is right. End of discussion.

A bit of a misanthrope, you often see others as weak, ignorant, and inferior.

You Are "Hey"

You are a bit of a wallflower. You're not a big fan of small talk and pointless conversation.

You tend to be more of a listener than a talker. You especially hate talking to strangers.

You are independent and very creative. You are good at expressing your thoughts, even if you keep most of them private.

Some people may see you as standoffish, but you're really a friendly person. It just takes you a while to warm up.

Blogthings: Take a Quiz. Annoy Your Friends.

Hmmm... More or less huh?

300.

No, I did not rewatch 300 or something.

That would be madness!

...

MADNESS? THIS IS THE 300th POST!

*PRESSES 'PUBLISH POST' BUTTON WITH RAGE AND LETS OUT A MIGHTY ROAR!*

---

Come to think of it, there is another resolution to my previous post.

It's crazily reckless and of utmost risk.

But I'd do it.

Life is not so bleak after all!

---

Sushi Zanmai has awesome sushi, but the rice is very mehhh...

---

A month ago. I got into an accident involving vehicles. I broke the motorcycle's 'windshield' and had to fork out RM50, probably not enough, but that's all I had. At least nobody was injured.

A month from then, which is now. My dad got into an accident, this time involving a lorry. The lorry dented my father's car's bonnet badly, and he paid RM200, hardly enough, but that's all he had. At least nobody was injured.

What goes around comes around eh?

Be grateful.

Genocide.

This post is quite brutal, definitely not for the faint-hearted. Highlight to read.

I am serious.

I feel terrible saying this.

I had a dream last night.

No, not in relation to my previous post's 'I Have A Dream.'

I dreamt last night.

In my dream, I set off to kill five people.

Yes, you read that right, 'kill.'

Five people that I knew or am acquainted to in some way, and not just any strangers who I had no relation to.

Why did I do that!? You ask.

Let's just say I was threatened with the lives of my five family members. My dad, my mum, my two sisters and my brother, and I had to kill five to save five.

The villain offered a trade where I'm supposed to pick off his five targets for him in exchange for the safety of my family. Sadly the five targets are all friends/relatives of friends.

Suffice to say, I woke up before I actually killed anyone.

But if it were real...

What would you have done if you were me?

Swallow your dignity and murder the targets to save your family?

or

Save yourself any guilt towards your companions and let your family perish?

Don't give me the cahoots about 'there must be some other way...' Because sometimes, there are just NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT. If it comes down to it, what would you do?

Some common quotes come to mind.

'Conflict must be avoided no matter what.'

'A blood debt can be repaid only with blood.'

'Revenge only gives birth to more revenge.'

'Whatever will be, will be.'

'Life and Death was predetermined.'

'Only apathy marks the end to a cycle of hatred.'

But you know...

Sometimes... Quotes can be quite nonsensical.

Sometimes... Just believe in what you believe.

So what are you?

A hermit?

A saint?

A martyr?

Or an avenger?

Saturday, Not The Usual One.

Moon was shining brightly tonight. Hmmmm.

Me, looking like God. Mhmmmm.

'Liqi, what are you doing?'

'Replying message.'

'WHAT THE HECK, YOU JUMP ON THAT THING JUST TO REPLY MESSAGE!?'

'Ya, it's the Reply Message Place. HEHEHEHHEE.'

What is your dream?

(Gets struck by Martin Luther's 'I Have A Dream' speech. Thinks she's talking about ideals and hopes.) Hmmm, need some time to think this through. What's yours?

HMMM I WANNA LIVE IN SWITZERLAND AND EAT LOTS OF CHOCOLATE AND CHEESE!

.... What? That's shallow! I thought you meant like your dream world or ideals or something. (Still stunned because I thought she was talking about ideals.)

Huh, dream world? I KNOW I KNOW! MY DREAM WORLD IS ORANGE IN COLOUR AND THE FLOOR IS BOUNCY SO NOBODY NEEDS TO WALK, JUST SKIP AND SKIP AND SKIP!

(Plays along.) Oh, like this? (Skips, skips, skips.)

YA, EXACTLY! SO FUN RIGHT!?!?!

But then ah, like that people will very fast get tired and then later they will just get sien and emo. :(

-__- SEE? PEOPLE TELL YOU THEIR DREAMS THEN YOU SAY PEOPLE WILL JUST GET SIEN! TOO MUCH AH YOU! SO WHAT WILL YOU SAY IF PEOPLE TOLD YOU 'Ahhh, my dream world is gonna be full of colours, and there will be chocolates and lollipops wherever I go, pigs probably fly there too!'

Oh my God, damn lame wei your world!

Uhh, sounds like yy.

So, what's your dream then?

Nothing like yours.

AHAHAH IS IT FULL OF (=*$#@$) (=*$#@$) (=*$#@$) ?

WHAT THE HECK!?

Then what?

In my dream world.... People live (positively) precariously.

(5 second silence.)

What, they gonna bungee jump everyday?

..........

---

Hmmm thanks Ash for the enlightenment.

It seems I might have got some stuff really wrong.

Oh well, no matter. It's not unrepairable.

---

TODAE, I WUK AP AT 10.25 AM!

GAS WUT!?

MAI TYUSION AT 10.30 AM!

GEE GEE GEE GEE GEE.

NO NO NO NO NO!

Yeah, rush rush rush. Good thing my tuition is just two doors away kan?

Played cards after tuition with Jung, Koks and Cong. THIS JUNG HACKED THE GAME, I SWEAR! HE WON MOST OF THE GAMES AND HAD MOST OF THE GOOD CARDS MOST OF THE TIME!

Oh wait, how do you hack a card game?

Then I moved on to the main event of the day: Church.

Went to the taxi stand in OU and had to wait for a Jouee to appear. So in the meantime, Koks and I went to the TV shop and I played the PS3.

.... I got beaten by the computer. (While a kid was killing them for fun. Ah, my reputation tarnished.)

Then we went on the taxi with an Indon driver who spoke very Indonized Bahasa Melayu.

Church was more enjoyable than usual. Mainly because my friends kept up with my energetic pace most of the time lol.

Ashley in particular was at her bimbo best to go through the motions with me. We did it all - headbangs, jumps, slow-mo jumps, lyrics-modification, jokes, random shouts of each others names, pretend we are newcomers, talked with headhunters (WHAT?) and speaking in China Accents + English Accents. She was my 'make-sure-we-both-won't-fall-asleep-during-sermon' partner today. AND WE SUCCEEDED! (Whereas Jouee was 'fallen' several times. Cough cough.)

OH THE HILARITY!

Yeah, then we watched Up!. Was not bad. But I thought it's a tad overrated. And certainly non-logical. But we, and any sane man/woman shouldn't expect it to be realistically plausible anyway. It's animation and fiction after all.

As a wise man used to say:

"Every time you apply real-life physics into the world of animation, God kills a kitten."

Please, save those kittens.

"We work to come so far, only to go back to what we ran away from at first. And then we think we've been enlightened once again, so we try to go back to the same place, only to let our fear conquer us. I will walk in circles till the sun burns out my eyes."

Yong Ying, I think we're living parallels.

Must be real nice huh?

Hmmm.. Come to think of it I don't really have a friend that I can do that with. =|
I usually have a million things to say.

But sometimes words just desert me.

I admire that you always know what you should do and what is right to do. But for some unfathomable reason you always don't do it, even if you could.

You're frustrating.

I don't understand you.

If life was a game of chess, which piece would you be?

Ironically, despite being the most important piece, the King is pretty ineffectual. The Queen on the other hand often calls the shots and is the match-winner. Yet, when the King is threatened, even the Queen has to sacrifice. Quite pathetic really. Always requiring protection while seldom offering it (though certainly capable of), preferring to instead shell away in safety.

Now, I'm not bold or arrogant or even half confident enough to stake claim as the King or the Queen in life, because the truth is, almost everybody is a Pawn.

Make no mistake, most Pawns will perish. Taunted and intimidated by daunting obstacles. Trounced by hardship.

The strong survives and the weak perish. If we were just weak ones, we'd be very much cannon fodder for the anguish of life. Crestfallen and devoid of resistance. Just a mere placeholder.

But if we were strong enough endure it all and survive, we'll move on to greater things, some previously not thought of. We'll be rewarded with the glory and goodness of life. Very much like how a Pawn gets promoted, no?

Personally, I'd never settle with being a mere Pawn all my life. If I ever was one, I'd make sure I'll one day drag myself to the other end and become something better, and not perish in the middle of the merciless battlefield.

Sad thing is, I'm still stuck at square two. Hahaha. 6 squares and plenty of adversity to go!
